The Master of Arts allows students to acquire the knowledge and techniques required for a better grasp of contemporary realities, giving meaning to the intellectual wealth created by mankind over the centuries.
It offers a wide range of disciplines, from historical studies to theoretical approaches in the human sciences, languages and literature. As a result, it offers you the opportunity to practise the interdisciplinarity approach proper to a study of the arts.
The Master of Arts degree offers training in the following disciplines:
At the end of the first year, students decide in which discipline they will complete their dissertation and whether to choose a Master of Arts worth 90 ECTS credits or a Master of Arts with specialisation worth 120 ECTS credits.

Applications must be submitted to the Admissions Department before the deadline.
Final enrolment dates
It is possible for students to begin the degree course in either the autumn or the spring semester (autumn semester : 30 April, spring semester : 30 November).
Candidates needing a visa to study in Switzerland must apply for enrolment at least two months prior to the deadlines indicated above.More information
After having completed this course, you will have acquired numerous skills that are beneficial in the professional world: independence, sense of responsibility and organisation, discernment, ability to analyse, synthetise and transmit complex information, argumentation skills, mastery of written and oral expression, versatility. These assets are greatly appreciated in fields such as cultural institutions (museums, theatres, festivals, foundations), publishing, education, media and communications, international organisations, event planning.
Alumni move into a wide variety of roles, such as teacher, journalist, communications officer, documentary production manager, cultural mediator, translator, web and new media projects officer, arts festival programme coordinator, or book and image digitisation specialist.
